ASEAN Journal of Science and Engineering (AJSE) Indexed in Scopus: Promoting High-Quality Research Results in Science and Technology

The ASEAN Journal of Science and Engineering (AJSE), managed by the Journal and Publication Office (KJP) of the Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI), has successfully been indexed in Scopus (recorded on April 4, 2023). The journal previously received a SINTA 4 ranking with no. 204/E/KPT/2022 on 03/10/2022 at the end of 2022. The link to the AJSE journal can be accessed at https://ejournal.upi.edu/index.php/AJSE.

The AJSE journal, which involved authors from 23 countries and 5 continents including Indonesia, Philippines, India, Thailand, Malaysia, Pakistan, United Arab Emirates, Nigeria, United States, Viet Nam, Qatar, Algeria, Ethiopia, Sweden, Uzbekistan, Japan, Zimbabwe, Bangladesh, Tunisia, Mauritania, Russia Federation, Brazil, and Libya, was published in 2021.

Prof. Dr. H.M. Solehuddin, M.Pd., M.A, the Rector of UPI, is proud and delighted with AJSE’s achievement as an internationally reputed journal that is indexed in Scopus. He believes that AJSE can promote science and technology in Indonesia and support UPI’s effort to make Indonesia the best in the international arena.

Meanwhile, Prof. Dr. Bunyamin Maftuh, M.Pd., M.A, the Vice Rector for Research, Partnership, and Business, is also proud of AJSE’s accomplishment and believes that it can be a reference source for researchers in Indonesia and beyond. Currently, UPI has three Scopus-indexed journals, namely the Indonesian Journal of Applied Linguistics (Q2 scimagojr), Indonesian Journal of Science and Technology (Q1 scimagojr), and the ASEAN Journal of Science and Engineering (recently accepted in Scopus).

According to Prof. Dr. Eng. Asep Bayu Dani Nandiyanto, the Editor in Chief of the AJSE journal, “AJSE is an open-access and peer-reviewed journal that aims to promote high-quality research results in the fields of science and technology. Hopefully, AJSE can also contribute to research in Indonesia, just like the Indonesian Journal of Science and Technology (IJoST) and Indonesian Journal of Applied Linguistics (IJAL).”

The AJSE management is supported by a professional editorial team consisting of Dwi Fitria Al Husaeni (S1-S2 Computer Science Education), Dwi Novia Al Husaeni (S1 Computer Science Education), Risti Ragadhita, S.Si. (S2 Chemistry – S3 Science Education), Meli Finandini (S2 Science Education), Siti Nur Khofifah (S1 Biology Education), and Sofi Septiani Julaeha Nursaniah (S1 Special Education).
