Bandung, January 30, 2024 — Dipo Piswatama is one of the 487 students who successfully completed the Merdeka Student Exchange Program in 2023 at Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI). Born in the village of Pernantian on December 30, 2003, Dipo has a passion for reading books and has achieved several accolades, including receiving the Best GPA award in the Pernantian village in 2023 and various awards in seminars and webinars.

Throughout his participation in the Student Exchange Program at UPI, Dipo Piswatama gained interesting experiences attending lectures, especially the opportunity to learn directly from lecturers and professors. Dipo had a positive impression during the Nusantara Module activities as he could meet outstanding individuals and explore various tourist attractions in Bandung.

Dipo Piswatama made several preparations before joining the Merdeka Student Exchange Program at UPI. This included completing the conversion of course documents with the program study chair, arranging flight details for departure, and gathering information about UPI’s curriculum and local areas from various sources such as news and YouTube.

During the Merdeka Student Exchange Program at UPI, Dipo Piswatama was impressed with the courses he undertook, including the analysis of Pancasila Civics textbooks, Islamic Law, Islamic Religious Education, Criminal Law, International Relations, Political Thought Theory, Human Rights, Civics Education, as well as Values and Moral Education. He also expressed admiration for the various facilities at UPI, especially the library, swimming pool, classrooms, and the building at the Faculty of Social Sciences Education (FPIPS), where he completed the Merdeka Student Exchange Program in 2023.
