Early Childhood Education Study Program of School of Postgraduate Studies, UPI, has sent delegation attending visiting lecturer in Dong Hwa University

Early Childhood Education (ECE) Study Program of School of Postgraduate Studies, Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI) has delegated a representative to attend a Visiting Lecture at Dong Hwa University, Taiwan. This Visiting Lecture Program is a follow up of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed by both ECE Study Program, School of PostgraduateStudies, UPI and Early Childhood Education Department Faculty of Science Education, National Dong Hwa University, Taiwan on 27 November 2015.

As officially agreed by both institutions, this academic program was initially implemented in November to December 2016. The activities include the writing of international journal article, sharing of the results of research, class presentations, and visits to the several Early Childhood Institutions in Taiwan. In this year, ECE Studies Program has delegated Dr. Heny Djoehaeni, S.Pd., M.Si to attend the program.

Head of Early Childhood Education Study Program of School of Postgraduate, UPI, Vina Adriany, M.Ed., Ph.D., said: The implementation of this program aims at promoting the name of Early Childhood Education Study Program of School of Postgraduate and UPI in national or international levels. Furthermore, it is also expected that this program can initiate a process of knowledge transfer among the academic community in both study programs. Therefore, this visiting lecture program will have a huge impact on the process of strengthening academic performance and improving the quality of students.

Hopefully, this program can be regularly implemented and, as a result, it can make a significant impact on improving the quality of Early Childhood Education Studies Program of School of Postgraduate, which in turn can also support UPI as one of the World Class Universities. (DN)
