Exploring Academic Collaborations with Global Universities at GCED Conference

Vice Rector for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Didi Sukyadi, MA, along with the Head of the Office of Special Advisors, Prof. Dr. H. Dasim Budimansyah, M. Si, and Member of the Office of Special Advisors, Prof. Ace Suryadi, M.Sc., Ph.D., explored collaborations with various universities at The 8th International Conference on Global Citizenships Education (GCED) in Seoul, South Korea.

University leaders participating in this international conference actively engaged in communication and discussions regarding governance and academic management at their respective institutions, especially concerning global issues central to the Global Citizenships Education (GCED) agenda of the Asia Pacific Center of Education for International Understanding (APCEIU) under UNESCO.

Prof. Dr. Didi Sukyadi, MA, explained that Coastal University of Ghana was one of the participating universities in the international conference interested in establishing cooperation with Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia. The collaboration discussed during the Global Citizenships Education (GCED) event pertains to the implementation of the three pillars of higher education, which are education, research, and community service.

During The 8th International Conference on Global Citizenships Education (GCED), Prof. Dr. Didi Sukyadi, MA, and other distinguished speakers met with and greeted students from Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia who were attending a semester of lectures at Sookmyung Women’s University in Seoul, South Korea (UPI Public Relations/Yana Setiaswan).
