Friday, March 8th 2019, a farewell ceremony for the 3rd batch of SEA-TVET program was held in the meeting room of UPI’s university center. Six students from Philippines were attending the ceremony while wearing Barong; Philippines’ national attire. One of the six students was enrolled in the U to U program between UPI and FEU. The ceremony was also attended by UPI’s vice rector of students and academic affair, the head of OIER, the head of UPI’s public relation office, the representatives of industries where the students’ carried out the SEA-TVET program, staffs of OIER, and OIER buddies.
The ceremony was opened by remarks from the vice rector, and the head of OIER. Then, in the following session, the participants were shown a documentary video of their activities when they were conducting the programs of SEA-TVET Program. After the video session was over, the representatives of the industries were given the chance to deliver evaluation remarks regarding the participants’ performance during the program. After that, three representatives of the 3rd batch of SEA-TVET and the student of U to U program were also given the chance to deliver their farewell remarks to their supervisors, fellow friends, and OIER Buddies.
The event concluded by the bestowal of certificates and goodie bag from UPI to the participants of the 3rd batch of SEA-TVET program. Before the participants were dismissed, a photo session was held to capture the moment.
