Indonesian Student Association in Hiroshima Hosts Inspiring Discussion with Youngest Particle Technology Professor from Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia

The Indonesian Student Association in Hiroshima (PPIH) held a discussion event with Prof. Dr. Eng. Asep Bayu Dani Nandiyanto, S.T., M.Eng, who is currently the youngest professor in particle technology from Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia. The discussion covered his experiences in attending lectures, conducting research, and publishing academic works. Prof. Dr. Eng. Asep Bayu Dani Nandiyanto, S.T., M.Eng is an alumnus of the Master’s (S2) and Doctoral (S3) programs at Hiroshima University. He is currently serving as a visiting professor and conducting research with Indonesian students Eka Lutfi Septiani, Delyana Ratnasari, and Aal at Prof. Takashi Lab in July 2023.

The discussion event was organized by PPIH with the aim of motivating undergraduate (S1), Master’s (S2), Doctoral (S3), and post-doctoral students currently studying in Hiroshima. Prof. Dr. Eng. Asep Bayu Dani Nandiyanto, S.T., M.Eng was committed to participating and sharing his experiences as an invited speaker, courtesy of one of the Doctoral (S3) students, Regi Wijaya.

During the discussion, Prof. Dr. Eng. Asep Bayu Dani Nandiyanto, S.T., M.Eng shared valuable insights from his study journey in Japan. Furthermore, he elaborated on how to thrive academically and non-academically. Additionally, Prof. Dr. Eng. Asep Bayu Dani Nandiyanto, S.T., M.Eng took the time to meet with students and discussed various techniques and steps to be taken after graduation and returning to Indonesia, particularly focusing on academic publishing.
