Indonesia’s Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (Kemdikbudristek) has announced the reopening of the scholarship registration for the 5th batch of the ICE Institute through the Merdeka Belajar Scholarship for All (MBUS) program. Targeting students, faculty, educational staff, and the general public, the MBUS program offers a unique opportunity to enrich, enhance skills, and gain learning experience by taking free courses from leading universities in Indonesia and abroad.
The aim of the MBUS scholarship program is to provide an opportunity for students, faculty, and educational staff across various Public and Private Universities (PTN and PTS) and the general public to enroll in courses from various universities for free.
The ICE Institute, or Indonesia Cyber Education Institute, is an online learning center accredited by Kemdikbudristek. It offers online lectures from many universities and online learning providers throughout Indonesia. As the quota for each course is limited, participants will be registered on a “first come, first served” basis.
The MBUS scholarship program allows students to participate in online lectures from top international campuses, obtain official certificates from the course providers, expand networking, and enhance the reputation of their respective universities.
For faculty and educational staff, the program can improve skills and capabilities in their respective fields, and provide a broader understanding and comparison of the learning process conducted by professors from renowned foreign universities.
The general public involved in this program can also benefit from enhancing their existing skills and competencies through a variety of flexible courses available at the ICE Institute. Those who are accepted and complete courses at the ICE Institute are entitled to an official certificate that can be utilized for various purposes in supporting competency and career development.

The schedule for the MBUS scholarship program registration is as follows:
- Socialization and registration from July 1, 2023, to August 25, 2023
- Selection of registration for selected courses from August 26, 2023, to August 31, 2023
- Announcement of successful participants through the page www.icei.ac.id on September 1, 2023
- Start of lectures for each course on September 4, 2023
