
The Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (Kemendikbud Ristek) continues to monitor the implementation of various policies. This time, the Directorate of Teachers and Education Personnel, Secondary Education and Special Education (Dit. GTK Dikmen Diksus paid a visit to the education unit that implements the Independent Curriculum in Badung Regency, Bali.
“The Independent Learning Curriculum is a development policy issued by the Ministry of Education and Culture, which is expected to provide new enthusiasm in the learning process of students in schools for the realization of Indonesian Superior Human Resources (HR) who have a Pancasila Student Profile,” explained the Acting Director (Plt.) GTK Director. Dikmen and Diksus, Yaswardi, Monday (25/7).
“Our goal is to strengthen the synergy and local government support for schools that implement the Independent Curriculum independently and invite teachers and school principals to take advantage of the Merdeka Teaching Platform and Learning Communities to support the Implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum,” he continued in front of teachers, principals, students, Head of the Badung Bali Education Office, Head of BGP Bali Province, Head of BPMP Bali Province, and Head of Teacher Development and Education Personnel of the Bali Provincial Education Office.
“By looking at the readiness of schools to implement the Independent Curriculum independently, we also want to take pictures of good practices and challenges in preparing for the implementation of the Independent Curriculum,” said Yaswardi.
It is hoped that this effort can help straighten misconceptions that may occur in the community, especially related stakeholders such as teachers, school principals, education offices, local governments, and parents regarding the implementation of the Independent Curriculum.
During a working visit related to the Implementation of the Independent Curriculum Monday to Wednesday, July 25-27 2002, the group was in Badung Regency Bali to visit the Badung Regency Education Office in Bali, visited the Badung Regency Regent’s office in Bali, visited SMA Negeri 1 Kuta Utara, SMP Negeri 1 Kuta North, SDN 6 Tuban, and SMA 2 Kuta.
The Government of Badung Bali Regency through the Regent of Badung Bali Regency expressed full support for the Implementation of the Independent Curriculum (IKM) which is one of the priority programs of the Ministry of Education and Culture, Research and Technology. “I welcome and give a positive appreciation for this activity,” said I Nyoman Giri Prasta as the Regent of Badung Regency, Bali.
