Micro Credentials for Indonesian Students, Enhancing the Competitiveness of UPI Students in the Digital Era

This digital marketing training greatly helps them to expand their network with various professionals in the digital marketing industry. “This can open opportunities for students to start a career in digital marketing or even start their own business in the future. This is an opportunity to improve skills and competitiveness in the digital era,” said Prof. Amir.
The Implementation of Key Performance Indicators (KPI) 2, Prof. Dr. Amir Machmud, S.E., M.Si., along with his team, recently completed the Independent Student Creativity Program through the Micro Credential of Indonesian Students (KMMI) held to improve the achievement of Key Performance Indicators (KPI) 2, which is students engaging in activities outside of campus. The KMMI Digital Marketing 2023 activity was held at the Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI) Dormitory on Jalan Dr. Setiabudhi Number 229 in Bandung, from Saturday to Friday (11-31/3/2023).
A total of 51 participants attended the KMMI Digital Marketing 2023 activity. They consisted of 1 person from the Faculty of Education Sciences, 1 person from the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences Education, 30 people from the Faculty of Economics and Business Education, 8 people from the Faculty of Technology and Vocational Education, 10 people from UPI Cibiru Campus, and 1 person from UPI Tasikmalaya Campus.
Prof. Amir explained, “In this digital marketing training, participants are trained to apply effective techniques in marketing products or services in the digital world, such as creating advertising campaigns, optimizing search engines, building compelling content, and managing social media. They also learn about effective data analysis techniques to measure the effectiveness of digital marketing campaigns and make decisions based on the results of this analysis, as well as help understand current trends and changes in digital marketing or changes that occur in search engine algorithms or social media that affect digital marketing strategies. Thus, they are able to develop digital marketing strategies that are appropriate to the characteristics of the products or services offered and the target market to be achieved,” he concluded.”
