On March 6th 2019, Monitoring and Evaluation session of Darmasiswa  RI Scholarship students batch 2018/2019 which enroll in BIPA (Bahasa Indonesia  untuk  Penutur  Asing / Indonesian for non-native speakers) was held at the meeting room of University Centre Building.

The session was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Education and Culture Republic of Indonesia (Kemendikbud RI), the head of OIER, staffs of OIER, and 13 international students from nine different countries. OIER reports to the representatives of the Ministry of Education about how the program was carried out. To give another input to the Ministry of Education, the participants were also given an evaluation form to be filled.

After the presentation session was over, the question and answer session was held. One of the questions was asked by a student from Tajikistan. He asked about the time extension of living in Indonesia. The representative of the Ministry of Education thenexplained that it is not compulsory to stay in Indonesia after the program was finished; rather the time extension is actually the remaining time of their permit to stay in Indonesia.

The end of the QnA session also signified the end of the Monitoring and Evaluation of Darmasiswa RI Scholarship. Before all the participants were dismissed, they took a photograph together in the meeting room. (Rifki)
