UPI has a formal policy for responsible sourcing of food and supplies, governed by Rector Regulation No. 66 of 2024.

A specific practice is in place to ensure all hazardous materials (B3) are managed and disposed of safely and responsibly.
📊 Waste Measurement and Recycling Policy (12.2.4)
UPI partially measures waste generation and recycling to track sustainability progress, governed by Rector Regulation No. 33 of 2025. Total organic waste produced daily is approx. 6.3 m³.
