Executive Summary

Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI) actively contributes to national and regional policy development related to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through direct involvement with government and non-governmental organizations. The university provides expertise in identifying problems and challenges, developing policies and strategies, modeling likely futures, monitoring interventions, and enabling adaptive management approaches.

UPI actively initiates and participates in cross-sectoral dialogues on SDGs in 2024, organizing and attending conferences involving government agencies, NGOs, private sector partners, and international organizations to foster collaborative approaches to achieving sustainable development objectives.

Through international collaboration, UPI actively participates in gathering and measuring SDG-related data, contributing to global monitoring efforts. The university also engages in comparative research to review different approaches and develop international best practices for SDG implementation across diverse contexts.
