Executive Summary
As Indonesia’s leading education institution, Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI) plays a central role in supporting the achievement of SDG 4. In 2025, UPI produced 3,135 qualified teachers from a total of 9,775 graduates, representing 32% of all graduates gaining teaching qualifications at primary school level.
Through Kampus Mengajar program, digital learning platform innovations, and sustainable education research, UPI not only improves education quality but also ensures equal access for all, including remote and underdeveloped areas. The university provides FREE access to educational resources including online courses, repository, and public lectures for non-students.

📚 Free Access to Educational Resources
The university provides FREE access to educational resources for those not studying at the university, including free courses leading to certificates and free access to online resources through UPI Repository.
🎓 Public Lectures & Community Events
The university through the Early Childhood Teacher Education Study Program (PGPAUD) at the Faculty of Education hosts public lectures and community educational events that are open to the general public. This is a policy where every study program hosts such events.
💼 Executive Education & Vocational Training
The university through the Faculty of Art and Design Education (FPSD) UPI hosts events open to the general public qualifying as executive education programs and vocational training. These are organized both ad-hoc and on a programmed basis.
🌍 Educational Outreach Activities
The university through the Thematic Community Service Program (KKN Tematik 2024) undertakes extensive educational outreach activities beyond campus in local schools and communities, including voluntary student-run schemes. This is done both ad-hoc and on a programmed basis.
🌈 Accessibility for All Policy
The university’s Long-Term Development Plan (RPJP 2016-2040) establishes a policy foundation ensuring access to activities is based on merit and ability, regardless of ethnicity, religion, disability, immigration status, or gender.
