The PPK Ormawa HMM FPTK UPI Team Installed AWI (Agriculture With Internet of Things) on the Land of the Head of RW 09 Cipanjalu Village

After being declared eligible to receive a funding grant from the Ministry of Education and Culture, the team PPK Ormawa HMM FPTK UPI immediately made progress in making AWI (Agriculture With Internet of Things) technology. The AWI technology was installed on Mr. Dede’s land as the Head of RW 09 Cipanjalu Village. The team cleared the land of weeds on five floors on the land starting on August 2, 2022 – August 4, 2022.

After the land was cleared, mapping was carried out for making plans for making tubs, installing pipes, sensors, and others. On August 6, 2022, excavations began for the manufacture of water and fertilizer reservoirs, excavation of the land was completed on August 20, 2022. Excavations took a long time due to unfavorable weather in the process which hampered the completion of the excavation of the tubs.

On August 24, 2022 – August 26, 2022 the team made a water and fertilizer reservoir. After making the tubs, the team planted chili, celery, and kale seedlings on August 27, 2022.

After the work on the land was completed such as cleaning, making tubs, and planting plant seeds, a solar panel installation was carried out on September 10, 2022 in which electricity was generated. generated from solar panels will be flowed to the land for AWI technology and also flowed to the mosque near Mr. Dede’s house.

The PPK Ormawa HMM FPTK UPI team carried out pipe installations on land from the first floor to the fourth floor on September 17 – September 18, 2022. Then continued with AWI (Agriculture With Internet of Things) technology trials on the land on September 23 – September 24 2022. After being tested, AWI technology can function on Mr. Dede’s land to practically water and fertilize through the AWI application.
