Agroindustry Technology Education Students Collaborate with Logistics Engineering and Electrical Engineering Education Students to Win Silver Medal in the Environment Sub-Theme and Secure Favorite Video and Poster Awards at the 2024 International Youth Summit
Students from Agroindustry Technology Education, in collaboration with students from Logistics Engineering and Electrical Engineering Education, successfully won the Silver Medal in the Environment sub-theme, as well as Favorite Video and Favorite Poster awards at the 2024 International Youth Summit competition.
The 2024 International Youth Summit Essay Competition is an essay competition organized by the Sentosa Foundation in collaboration with
the Centre of Entrepreneurial Development and Graduate Marketability (CEM), Universiti Putra Malaysia, Malaysia. IYS 2024 is an annual event for students from across Southeast Asia and other countries. This program has the potential to enhance networking within the industry and society, both at national and international levels, due to the involvement of students and academics from various countries. The event includes many exciting activities, such as essay competitions, seminars, poster exhibitions, and other activities.
The primary goal of this event is to provide a platform for students in Southeast Asia, such as those from Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines, and other countries, to share their classroom learnings to address social and scientific challenges. Additionally, this program can foster international student connections. The 2024 International Youth Summit was held from August 10–12, 2024, in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

I want to thank everyone who supported us, including the faculty advisors, the head of the study program, the lecturers from the Agroindustry Technology Education program, the leadership of the Faculty of Technology and Vocational Education (FPTK) UPI, the Directorate of Student Affairs, the university leadership, and fellow UPI students,” said Irsan Maulana, the team leader from the Agroindustry Technology Education program, Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia.
