UPI’s Chemical Engineering Program Ranked No. 1 in Indonesia by SINTA

The Chemical Engineering Program at the Faculty of Technology and Vocational Education, Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI), has achieved the top rank according to SINTA (Science and Technology Index), a scientific online platform managed by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia. With a Sinta Score of 18,030, the program stands as the number one among 89 chemical engineering departments across Indonesia.

At UPI, the Chemical Engineering Program also holds the first rank in both the Sinta 3-year and overall Sinta scores. The top seven programs at UPI, according to Sinta’s overall score, are as follows:

  1. Bachelor’s Program in Chemical Engineering
  2. Doctoral Program in Science Education (S3 Pendidikan IPA)
  3. Doctoral Program in Mathematics Education (S3 Pendidikan Matematika)
  4. Doctoral Program in Vocational Technology Education (S3 Pendidikan Teknologi Kejuruan)
  5. Master’s Program in Mathematics Education (S2 Pendidikan Matematika)
  6. Master’s Program in Science Education (S2 Pendidikan IPA)
  7. Doctoral Program in Basic Education (S3 Pendidikan Dasar)

Currently, the Chemical Engineering Program at FPTK UPI boasts five permanent faculty members: Prof. Dr.Eng. Asep Bayu Dani Nandiyanto, S.T., M.Eng., Dr. Indra Mamad Gandidi, S.T., M.T., Haipan Salam, S.Si., M.Si., Ph.D., Dr. Agus Solehudin, S.T., M.T., and Dr. Ai Mahmudatussaadah.
