Collaboration in art: UPI signs MoU with Musikhochschule Lübeck Germany

Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Musikhochschule Lübeck on Friday, February 21st, 2020 at Partere Building UPI.

The President of UPI, Prof. Dr. H. R. Asep Kadarohman, M.Si. in his welcoming remarks delivered, “We are very pleased to welcome Mr. Dieter Mark. UPI and Musikhochschule Lübeck already had a long history of cooperation. Hopefully, this collaboration will continue in the future. This cooperation is a positive thing because it is a good opportunity to improve our professionalism in arts and music.”

The Dean of Faculty of Art and Design Education (FPSD), Dr. Zakaria S Soeteja, M.Sn. along with the vice deans, the heads of department, and the heads study program also attended the signing of MoU.

This was not the first time that UPI and Musikhochschule Lübeck Germany have formed a partnership. Previously, UPI had already established the cooperation in student exchange. The signing of MoU aims to extend the collaboration between UPI and Musikhochschule Lübeck Germany in the field of arts.

UPI currently is in a program of internationalization. UPI expects to conduct cooperation with lecturers from overseas universities, for example: studium generale or online lectures from professors overseas will be accompanied by UPI lecturers as well.
