Rajamangala University of Technology Krungthep (RMUTK) in Thailand serves its students with various undergrad and graduate programs. The university also provides international education by establishing “International College” with study programs such as accounting, information system, etc. The university also enlarge its network of partnership with various universities in the world. Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia, Bandung conducted a formal meeting with Rajamangala University for the very first time in Indonesia in order to have agreement on academic collaboration.
On April 17, 2018 Representatives and Mr. Sukit Natanai, P.hD as the President of Rajamangala University had the meeting at Villa Isola Building of UPI to discuss a matter of academic collaboration and sign Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the universities. The meeting was initiated by a speech as welcoming remarks from each university and brief introductory video of Rajamangala University. Mr. Vidi Sukmayadi, as the Section Head of International Program Implementation from International Office of UPI, guided as leader discussion and assist to interpret the discussion toward academic collaboration matters like students or faculty staff exchange program that may be established by the universities.
After the discussion and light talks, the universities gave each other’s souvenirs as a means of token appreciation and decide to give a taste on traditional local snacks of Indonesia. “We really thank you for inviting us,” said Mr. Sukit Natanai on behalf of Rajamangala University.
