Publication Journal Office Holds International Student Conference on Education (ISCoE) 2021

The seminar was opened with remarks from the Director of the Directorate of International Affairs (DIA), Ahmad Buchori Muslim, Ph.D. he said that “To the presenters who have provided time for me to speak at this international seminar with the theme of Literacy and Numeracy, I would like to convey several messages to students here. I hope that after this KKN activity, students can continue to teach literacy and good numeracy to the public. as well as children. School, because as we know in this pandemic situation and with technological advances, school students will be very lazy to read books because they have been spoiled with technology, plus there are no teachers who directly accompany them during this brave study period, which adds to the level of laziness of school students. Therefore, students as agents of change are expected to be able to make changes to the community and school students during this pandemic period and beyond.” The Director of DIA said in his speech, Sunday (26/09).

Then, the Secretary of LPPM, Prof. Ida Hamidah, M.Si. said that “This time we are at the UPI International Student Conference on Education 2021. This international seminar has the theme Empowering Student Literacy in Reading, Writing, Counting and Science in Facing Sustainable Development at 4.0. This seminar is the result of the 2021 UPI thematic KKN activities per group of 20, 21, 22 and 24. I would like to thank the seminar organizers, namely the Field Supervisors and to the KKN students in Groups 20, 21, 22, 24. The aim of the International Student Conference is as a form of discussion of the final results of the Thematic KKN in Reading, Writing, Counting and Science. Hopefully, this seminar will provide benefits and lessons for all of us.” Further, the Head of the KJP Office, Dr. eng. Asep Bayu Dani Nandiyanto, S.T., M.Eng. delivering his remarks, he said, “I congratulate the KKN students who have reached the final stage of the activity. And I thank you for organizing this event well. The International Student Conference on Education 2021 is an event organized by KKN students and their DPL. This international seminar has the theme Empowering Student Literacy in Reading, Writing, Counting and Science in Facing Sustainable Development at 4.0. This seminar is the result of KKN activities 20, 21, 22 and 24 with the theme UPI 2021.

I would like to thank the seminar organizers, site builders and KKN groups 20, 21, 22, 24. The International Student Conference discussed the final results of KKN on reading, writing, arithmetic and scientific topics. Hopefully, this seminar will bring benefits and lessons for all of us.” Finally, remarks were given by each of the Field Supervisors (DPL) Groups 20, 21, 22, and 24.
