Kemendikbudristek on 29 to 01 December 2021 at the Swiss Bell Hotel Bogor has invited several universities in Indonesia. This is related to the admission of foreign students and the assignment of foreign lecturers who will enter the country. The activity was packaged in an event entitled “Technical Guidance for Foreign Student Study Permit Services and Foreign Lecturer Assignment Permits in Indonesia.” In this case, at UPI (Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia), the responsibility for its management is under the Directorate of International Affairs. Mr. Firman Maulana is a staff member who was sent as a representative of the unit as well as representing the university.

The aims and objectives of the activity are 1) to provide technical guidance on the management of foreign student study permit application services during the COVID-19 pandemic in Indonesia by a team from the Directorate General of Higher Education, Research and Technology, the State Intelligence Agency, the Indonesian National Police Headquarters, the Directorate General of Immigration, the Ministry of Manpower. The work and team of foreign student study permit applications to participants from the PT Akademik Foreign Student Permit Application Manager/Admin. 2) Facilitate obstacles related to the management of foreign student study permits during the pandemic and become a forum for fraternity gatherings and exchange of opinions regarding problems in managing foreign students for the managers/admins of the PT Akademik Foreign Student Study Permit application.
