The Indonesian University of Education delegation appeared to fulfill an invitation from the Indonesian Embassy (KBRI) in Tokyo to actively organize and participate in Indonesian arts and culture festival activities on October 13, 2022. The
Indonesian University of Education team was led by Prof. Dr. H. Suwatno, M.Si as the Director of the Directorate of Student Affairs and Dr. Ayo Sunaryo, M.Pd as head of the UPT Culture of the Indonesian University of Education who has received official permission and approval from the Ministry of State Secretariat of the Republic of Indonesia on November 23 2022.
Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia Tokyo to Japan Heri Ahmadi explained that the next agenda in the near future is cooperation with Japanese language teacher training centers, Doctoral Program (S3) scholarships for UPI lecturers who continue studying in Japan from various disciplines, especially Education, angklung training for teachers in Japan.
While in Japan, the Indonesian University of Education delegation team participated in various series of activities including providing angklung training to students and teachers in Shizuoka Japan on November 28 2022. As well as continuing a meeting exploring collaboration between Tsukuba University. On December 21, 2022 Representatives of the University of Tsukuba will pay a visit to the Indonesian University of Education in the context of collaboration. In February 2023, the Indonesian University of Education was invited to collaborate with the University of Tsukuba.
