Enhancing Key Performance Indicators in Higher Education: UPI’s International Collaboration Achievements

Minister of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology, Nadiem Anwar Makarim, B.A., M.B.A, has issued Decision Number 210/M/2023 regarding Key Performance Indicators for Higher Education Institutions and Higher Education Service Agencies under the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia.

Through this decision, Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI) has established and formulated a performance plan and evaluation of its performance achievements, guided by the main performance indicators in the implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, which includes education, research, and community service.

In response to this policy, Vice Rector for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Didi Sukyadi, MA, along with the Head of the Office of Expert Staff, Prof. Dr. H. Dasim Budimansyah, M.Si, and the Member of the Office of Expert Staff, Prof. Ace Suryadi, M.Sc., Ph.D, have made strenuous efforts to improve the achievement of Key Performance Indicators (KPI). They explored collaborations with various international partners, including participating in the 8th International Conference on Global Citizenships Education (GCED) in Seoul, South Korea.

Through this international conference, UPI successfully facilitated an improvement in the Key Performance Indicator (KPI) achievement related to faculty members’ activities outside the campus, criteria for Tri Dharma activities in other foreign higher education institutions, the application of faculty work that receives international recognition, international-level study programs, and classroom learning (UPI Public Relations/Yana Setiawan).
