Leyte Normal University of Philippine and Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia has signed MoU in order to collaborate in international partnership. Both of the universities introduced their campus through videos that they shared virtually. The ceremony is marked successfully after Prof. Dr. H. Adang Suherman, M.A. as the Vice Rector for Research, International Affairs, Partnership, and Business and Dr. Jude A. Duarte as the President of Leyte Normal University of Philippine signed the MoU. After signing, the MoU documents are showed to the camera so they could see the document each other.
The representative of Leyte Normal University who attended the ceremony were Dr. Jude A. Duarte (the President of LNU), Dr. Myrna Macalinao (The Vice President for Academic Affairs), Dr. Marife Daga (The Dean College of Education), Dr. Claerchille Tan (The Board Secretary), and Dr. Maricel Gomez (The Director of International Affairs LNU). This ceremony was also attended by Prof. Dr. H. Adang Suherman, M.A. (The Vice Rector for Research, International Affairs, Partnership, and Business), Ahmad Bukhori Muslim, Ph.D. (The Directorate of International Affairs Director), Dr. Nia Nafisah, S.S., M.Pd. (The Head of International Program Section), Tuzsie Widhiyanti, S.Si.,M.Pd. (The Head of International Program Development Section), Dr. R. Boyke Mulyana, M.Pd. (The Dean of the Faculty of Physical Education and Health), Dr. Nandang Rusmana, M.Pd. (The Director of UPI Tasikmalaya Regional Campus), Dr. Sardin, S.Pd., M. Si (The Dean of the Faculty of Science Education), Prof. Dr. Tatang Herman, M.Ed. (The Dean of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Science Education), Dr. Iwa Kuntadi, M.Pd. (The Dean of the Faculty of Technical Education and Vocational Science), staffs of UPI Protocol, staff of UPI Public Relation Division, and staffs of UPI Directorate of International Affairs.
Both universities have expectations for this international collaboration. For Leyte Normal University of Philippine, they hope that this collaboration in cultural, student exchange, and other fields will run well. Meanwhile, Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia hope this collaboration can prepare students and faculty members with international partnership such as student exchange, research, and other programs. Hopefully, the expectations can be realized well through this collaboration.
