Signing Ceremony and Partnership Discussion

Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia welcomed the delegates from Chirchik State Pedagogical University on Monday, February 27, 2024. Prof. Dr. M. Solehuddin, M.Pd., M.A., the rector of Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI), with respected representatives honored the chance to meet, discussed prospective partnership and signed the Memorandum of Understanding with Chirchik State Pedagogical University (CSPU), Uzbekistan. Represented by Prof. Dr. Jabbor Usarov and Prof. Dr. Dustnazar, CSPU explored prospective collaboration with the deans and directors of existing faculties, School of Postgraduate Studies, and satellite campuses. The discussion involved the possibility of joint research, inbound students from Uzbekistan to study in Indonesia, and visiting professors for the agreed topic interests.

The delegates from CSPU continued the agenda to explore UPI facilities. Faculty of Educational Sciences, Faculty of Economic and Business Education, also UPI in Cibiru welcomed delegates to visit Psychology, Special Education, Management, and Robotics Study Program. Delegates were welcomed by faculties and satellite campus representative to share current academic data, facilities current condition and prospective collaboration. Exploring context and condition of the three units gave the mutual consideration to plan the future partnerships. CSPU are willing to engage in joint lecture and propose for an opportunity for adjunct professors. It is expected for Parties to tailor prospective researchers and their research interest to match partnership to its realization.

Additionally, CSPU delegates planned to extend their visit and commenced further discussion with the Faculty of Economics and Business Education (FPEB) on Wednesday, February 27, 2024. The delegates plan to connect curious students from CSPU with the faculty to question some technicality in applying for any program in FPEB. Finally, it is hoped for follow up discussion on the agreed program to be commenced next year. Further, UPI has a positive support to execute mutual interest partnership.
